The Orange Economy is a business and creative platform created to help African creatives, entrepreneurs, and industry enthusiasts unlock their full potential.
Through storytelling, education, and strategy, we simplify complex business philosophies, making them accessible and actionable for Africa’s creative industries.
In partnership with Friends in the Making, The Orange Economy will host an Incubation Program. This is a dynamic outreach initiative designed to identify, train, and upskill emerging creatives across disciplines such as fashion, production, design, and marketing.
Participants will receive mentorship from industry leaders and gain hands-on experience by contributing to the planning and execution of the Friends in the Making event.
This collaboration not only nurtures creative talent but also provides a real-world platform for participants to apply their skills, build professional networks, and transition into the workforce with confidence and experience.
The 20 selected participants will embark on an intensive, two-week mentorship and skills development program. Led by seasoned industry professionals, this bootcamp is designed to provide practical, hands-on training. Upon completion, they will join the Friends in the Making production team, gaining real-world experience in event execution and building a valuable professional network. This initiative turns raw potential into tangible skill, creating meaningful pathways into the creative workforce.
